Day 2 Cool Parents

Sunday is always a busy day at our house early waking times, early arrival times for practice for church then actual service. Even though our schedule is full it is no excuse to not have a parenting moment. In this case a cool parenting moment well according to me at least.... After my sweet is at practice my child's words are "I'm hungry" of course you are because you weren't at the house. So off we go because you know you have to feed them. While driving in the car we came across a totally 80s radio station. Playing the best of the cheesiest 80s pop music. Said child looks at me and says "This has to be from the 80s"....parenting score #1 my child can identify 80s music by the style alone.  My reply "Why yes yes it is. Day 1 Hello

It's a start a brand new start. It's not a finish or closing of what once was but a new direction. It's Saturday evening here and I am enjoying a bit of sunlight. I can't stay out in it too long as I will start to break out and look like I got into a fight with a paint brush...most likely losing. My sweet is in the back working on his latest design of an old-fashion forge. He loves to create new things from old just like I do. His work keeps improving and so does the forge design. He has made rings and bands, an axe and a dagger. I can't wait to see what he is working on today. Making something from nothing no doubt. The child is working too. Only their work is on the computer much like mine. They have a passion for photography and the skill to back it up. Within less than a minute of posting a new piece on deviant art, 3 likes and/or saves. I am impressed by the eye and vision of the work....seeing things I just would not see devising a layout I wouldn't ...
